Beijing Golf Courses:
Beijing Shun Feng Golf Club
Shun Feng golf club is co-designed by Watts Leslie John, David Hemstock, Darren Mansfield and Iketa Narimichi. This 27 hole golf course is divided into three 9-hole courses – Course A, Course B and Course C. Shunfeng is the only top golf course that combines the mountains, lakes and orchards in Beijing. The course B+C was awarded Top 30 Golf Courses in China and Top 10 Scenic Golf Course in China in 2011 by Golf Vacation+Lifestyle magazine. It is absolutely unique while you are playing golf, you can even see the Great Wall of China in front of the Green.
Great Wall of China
Being an ancient military defence project, The Great Wall is one of the symbols and pride of China. It is very convenient to visit The Great Wall from Beijing. There are many sections of the Great Wall around Beijing city. Badaling Great Wall is the site of the most visited section of the Great Wall partly because it is close to Beijing city and connected with the urban area by expressway. More importantly, it’s so close to private golf clubs when you book our fully escorted golf tour in Beijing.
The Forbidden City
The Forbidden City was the Chinese imperial palace from the Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty. For almost 500 years, it served as the home of emperors and their households, as well as the ceremonial and political centre of the Chinese government. The Forbidden City was declared a World Heritage Site in 1987 and is listed by UNESCO as the largest collection of preserved ancient wooden structures in the world.
The Silk Market
Silk Market is the knock off capital of China. With bargains to be had on every corner including handbags which will please every shopaholic’s expectation, kids toys that will excite and we cannot forget the wide variety of quality silk pyjamas and scarfs that is on everyone’s shopping list. Getting to the Silk Markets via Taxi from JW Marriott will take 10 minutes. However, as this is the capital of bargain hunting in Beijing this may be a good opportunity to experience the subway, which from your hotel will take just five minutes. Depending on your ability to control yourself, a Taxi/moving truck back to the hotel may be advised.
